Mike Schellhous | Director
Mike is the Founder and Director of Eden West Weddings. He is currently the Director of Weddings for our Carmel Division.
Personal attention and professionalism have been the
cornerstones of his business philosophy since Mike first started his company over 15 years ago. He is renowned for creating a signature style for each wedding party and prides himself in
designing a wide-range of weddings…from simple and elegant through to the most extravagant
affairs.
Mike keeps his company fashion-forward and ensures that all of his planners are kept abreast of the latest trends in the wedding industry.
His emphasis is on events that are both modern and creative.
After living in Hawaii for over 10 years, Mike now resides full-time in Carmel by the Sea
with his partner and their beloved dog, Hula. |

Kristin Sena | Assistant Director
Kristin (shown with her husband, Lou) is usually the first person you will speak with should you call us direct. She is the "Organizer Extraordinaire" at Weddings In Carmel and is an integral part of creating each couples timeless celebration.
Kristin helps with every detail of your event from preparing wedding proposals to booking our professional vendors.
As the Assistant Director, she is an essential part of our team and is renowned for her talent, charm and positive energy.
Born and raised in Monterey County, Kristin and her husband are the owners of
Aiena Wines of the
Santa Lucia Highlands. |

Sarah Garrett | Wedding Planner
Sarah (shown with her husband, Josh, at their own wedding last year on Kauai) is originally from the East coast of Australia and is no stranger to creating unforgettable events.
Her planning experience encompasses weddings, formal events, distinctive dinners and
incredible social gatherings.
Sarah loves to design weddings that are elegant and, most importantly, reflect the unique style and character of each individual couple.
Her keen attention to detail ensures your wedding will be memorable (and for all the right reasons!).

Sarah is also a commercial
airline pilot who stays grounded these days to spend more time with her husband and
their little girl, Lucia. |

Sheree Giegling | Wedding Planner
Sheree had been our most requested wedding planners for many years and has been responsible for training nearly all of our coordinators. She often flies between Carmel and Maui several times a month in order to work at both offices.
Sheree is regarded by all of our professional vendors and clients as one of the nicest and most detail-oriented coordinators they have ever worked with. The statement
"we were able to relax and enjoy our wedding knowing that Sheree was in charge" seems to the compliment we hear the most.
During her vacation time in December, Sheree like to travel to various locations including Scotland, Ireland, England and Spain. She still manages to speak directly to her brides and grooms even while in Europe as she
truly loves her job.
