Reverend Denise Adkins

Reverend Denise Adkins is one of our most
sought-after officiates!
Each and every wedding is unique and special to her.
After meeting in person, talking on the phone or
e-mailing with the bride and groom... Denise will
help
co-create the ceremony to ensure that it has a
genuine connection and truly reflects the
relationship.
Also included is a wonderful package of sample
ceremonies with additional reading and ideas.
Reverend Adkins has such a warm personality and a
big heart that she always puts the entire wedding
party at ease! Past brides
and grooms have written letters of gratitude to us
regarding her ability to take away any of the stress
and for turningthe ceremony into the
most treasured day of their
lives.

Reverend Theodore Edward

Theodore was born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula but has
lived all over the United States. He considers Carmel and
Maui to be his true homes.
All of Theodore's ceremonies are heart-felt and specifically designed
for each couple. He truly believes that each and every
wedding is a blessed event between
two souls. After many years of
officiating weddings in Hawaii before coming back to
California... Reverend Theodore will gladly add parts of a traditional
Hawaiian
Ceremony to your vows if you desire. His personal favorite is the traditional lei exchange:
"In the
ancient language of Hawaii, leis have always symbolized an extension
of love, acceptance and welcome. A lei that
is closed is a never-ending circle
which means surrounding aloha and
love. The open lei symbolizes the giving of your love and
connects you to the energies of earth and this moment. When
you
exchange these leis here you will be sealing this moment
for all time and space."

Reverend Brian Lyke, M. Div.

I'm Brian Lyke. For over 30 years, in Big Sur and on the Monterey
Peninsula, I've enjoyed helping couples create a ceremony
that reflects their values and intentions for their life together. I'm
comfortable with large or small weddings, with
inter-faith marriages, and with those who want a spiritual but not
necessarily religious ceremony.
I am a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary where I earned a
Master of Divinity degree (M.Div.). I have served as a
college chaplain (Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA), as a Hospice
Chaplain (Hospice of The Central Coast in Monterey, CA),
and as an Interim Pastor. For 20 years I was on the staff of Esalen
Institute in Big Sur, CA.

Reverend Wayne Martin

Rev. Wayne Martin is a United Church of Christ clergyman with more
than 28 years of experience as a parish. He was raised
on the Monterey Peninsula and returned with his family in 1999 to make
his home here. His services have an emphasis on
the heart and are created specifically to meet the needs and desires
of each occasion. Ceremonies offered for both weddings
and renewals include traditional or customized as well as religious or
non-religious.

Reverend Colette Cuccia

Colette
Cuccia was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana; she graduated
from Georgia State University with a BS in
Psychology. She has been officiating weddings since 1985 and has lived
in Carmel California since 1989. She is a member
of the Carmel Business Association and the Monterey
Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.
Colette is nationally known and widely experienced. She has done
weddings for couples from around the globe incorporating
varied and exotic cultural traditions.
She is an officiate that can perform nondenominational, alternative
lifestyle, and civil ceremonies, and is a Certified
Marriage Commissioner. She is also authorized to issue confidential
marriage licenses for the County of Monterey
(one of a few such agents).
Colette's
emphasis in officiating is to listen to every word and consider
seriously every concern to accomplish a successful
event, which reflects the vision of the bride and groom. The results
are a wedding to enjoy to the fullest and a cherished
memory.
